Thursday
Driving home with Brandon's dad was odd. I'd never spent much time with Ed, so we didn't have much to talk about on the way back. I was pretty glad he brought work to do, so at least there was a reason for our silence.
I returned home to find that my room and roommate assignment had arrived. I found it interesting that my roommate was from the next town over from my grandparents -- I'd visited New Philadelphia, Ohio many times, so I at least knew where he was from.

Secret writing:
Melissa and I had our "little talk" tonight. We agreed on most everything: she doesn't want to have sex; I don't care either way, so I'm OK with it. We both agree, therefore, that we should stop "dry fucking, for sanity's sake. We then proceeded to have the most out-right sexual activity yet... in my room! We both had our shirts off, and my mom brought Danny up for bed and nearly walked in on us!
I was OK with not having sex, but oh man, did I want to. But I was willing to be patient and wait for her to come around. Especially when I kept getting mixed signals like tonight.
Peter's Friends is a depressing film, but it did contain this great line. "I've never fallen in love. I've stepped in it a few times..."
